Inside Counsel Publishes 2007 Year in Review

Inside Counsel's December issue includes an article listing of its top 20 stories of 2007. Their top stories include the record number of general counsel charged with fraud, employment cases against Wal-Mart, amendments to the federal rules regarding e-discovery, law firm associate salary increases (which has contributed to an increase in billing rates discussed in a recent law.com article), and the indictment of plaintiffs' attorney Melvyn Weiss.

CNN, meanwhile, had a list of the weirdest work stories of 2007, which included a twist on the marketing battle between Coke and Pepsi: rival workers literally fought over shelf space in a Wal-Mart, causing a black eye and broken nose.
